Artist Dan Gerhartz has achieved more than his years
seem possible. His study of art was at the renowed American Academy of Art in
Chicago, Illinois. His work earned him the "People's Choice Award" in 1992, and the
"Buyers Choice Award" and Silver Medal for Oil award at the National Academy of
Western Art Show in 1993 and 1994. Gerhartz was inspired by many painters: John
Singer Sargent, Russian artists Nicolai Fechin, Ilya Repin, and many French and American
impressionists.
