Print Description:
|
With the fourth annual Greenwich Workshop Commemorative print, Charles Wysocki completes
his tour of the four seasons. In 1983 (his first commemorative), he visited winter. In 1984,
the scene shifted to fall. In 1985, the season was spring. In each, the artist dressed his
subject - a plump, Wysocki-esque bird - for the weather appropriate to the season.
The 1986 Commemorative is summer, and Wysocki's meadowlark is in perfect attire, always
ready to remind you of the simple pleasures of a summer's day.
