Print Description:
|
Welcome to Charles Wysocki's visual celebrations of America, where dreams come true,
occupations are pursued with joy and vigor, and new friendships are always right
around the corner. Whether you hang these four prints: There's A Right Way, A Wrong Way, and the Amish Way; Paper Boys; So Proudly We Hail; or Promises Promises all together or decide to display them individually
season by season, each print in the collection is full of the inimitable wit, detail, and
engaging storytelling that has earned Charles Wysocki the title, master of Americana.
"I'm usually drawn to occupations that are somewhat unusual and to the enterprising
moms and pops, sons and daughters that sell their wares via carriages, buggies, and wagons.
These four paintings are indicative of the charm of the small-town family-like camaraderie
built up over the years between buyer and seller.
These paintings are my respects and tributes to the small, hard-working independent
businesses that are still alive and hopefully flourishing throughout the good Olde
U.S.A. Long may they live!"
--- Charles Wysocki
