without relying on snow. After all, my own California Christmases weren't white.
In Christmas Memories
first in my new series celebrating the
joyous festivity of an earlier and more gracious era, one of California's
great historic Housed shows its festive holiday face. Colorful lights
spill out from the huge Christmas tree onto surrounding bushes and shrubs
as tethered horsed await the close of festivities. I hope that even
without snow my "Christmas Memories" will capture the festive spirit of Christmas."
